CDCA Educational Training Packages
Beginning 7/1/11, individuals interested in obtaining a CDCA certification must complete forty (40) hours of education in eight content areas. These include:
Addiction Knowledge (5 hours)
Treatment Knowledge (9 hours)
Professionalism (6 hours)
Evaluation (3 hours)
Service Coordination (4 hours)
Documentation (3 hours)
Individual Counseling (5 hours)
Group Counseling (5 hours)
