Spring Conference Program Guide
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
We invite you to attend the ODADAS Spring Conference, March 6 - 7, 2012, at the Crowne Plaza North, in Columbus, Ohio. This year’s theme is “Wellness and Addiction Services: Moving Forward” which captures the significant changes coming to Ohio’s behavioral health field under health care reform and the availability of new technologies designed to support wellness and recovery. The next few years will mark dramatic changes in mental health and addiction services for the end result of enhancing recovery in the community for Ohioans. In past years, the conference has brought together leaders in prevention, education, treatment, research and recovery to present the latest developments in their disciplines. This learning opportunity will equip you with useful strategies that your organization can use to improve outcomes and business practices in this changing environment, as well as provide strategies that will assist you in offering high quality, culturally competent services to your customers.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE ODADAS SPRING CONFERENCE?
Professionals working in the fields of alcohol and other drug prevention and treatment, education, law enforcement and juvenile justice; members of community coalitions and faith-based organizations; others interested in promoting collaboration across disciplines and community sectors concerning problem gambling & AOD prevention, treatment, research and recovery.
