BRSS TACS

BRSS TACS (Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale – Technical Assistance Strategies) is an ODMH and ODADAS project federally funded by SAMHSA with the goal of promoting the implementation of recovery-oriented supports, services and systems.  The goals of Ohio’s BRSS TACS project  are:
(1)     Establish a shared Ohio definition of recovery,
(2)     To bring Peer Support Service to scale provided by certified Peer Support Specialist and Peer Recovery Coaches.
(3)     Establish a (fiscal) mechanism that promotes a recovery orientation in all services including Healthcare Homes through expanded access to recovery and peer services and supports. 
(4)     Create partnerships to establish a trained, credentialed workforce to develop high quality recovery peer services and supports. Develop a process to establish credentialing and core competency standards
