The Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) wants to remind employers, vendors and other business contacts not to send gifts or offer gifts to ODADAS staff. ODADAS staff are public employees subject to certain restrictions under Ohio Ethics laws. ODADAS staff cannot accept any item/invitation of value, including gifts, travel, meals or lodging from parties doing, or seeking to do business with or interested in matters before ODADAS. Please do not send any gifts to the ODADAS office or to individual staff members. ODADAS will return any gifts as refused, no matter how minimal in nature.
